In the 1900s, a white woman is murdered in San Francisco’s Chinatown. The suspect is Chinese. The murder causes social upheaval, and public opinion demands that Chinatown be outlawed. Chinese medicine practitioner QIN FU (LIU Haoran) and Chinese man Ah Gui (WANG Baoqiang) are drawn into the case, and they race against time to find the killer in a battle of wits and courage.
